Chicken Masala Recipe: Required ingredients

1 kg chicken

Salt to taste

5 garlic cloves

2 inches piece of ginger

2 medium onions (chopped)

1 cup yogurt (beaten)

12 red chilies

1 tbsp white cumin seeds

1 tsp roughly ground black pepper

1 tbsp whole spice

½ cup cooking oil

Fresh coriander leaves (according to your choice)

Lemon slics (as needed)


Chicken Masala Recipe: Cooking instructions

Wash chicken well in fresh water in order to clean it and leave until dries completely.

Marinate chicken in salt, black pepper and plain yogurt, then keep it aside for about half hour.

Roughly grind onion, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds and red chilies.

Take cooking oil in a pan and heat it over medium flame.

Add one tablespoon whole spice and fry it for 30 seconds.

Add roughly ground spices (onion, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds and red chilies) and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add chicken, mix well, cover with a lid and let the curry cook until chicken pieces become soft and all water dries.

Add fresh coriander leaves and cook for more five minutes, then turn the stove off.

Delicious chicken masala curry is ready, transfer it in a serving bowl.

Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon slices and serve hot with naans, pitta breads or rice
