The vomiting and nausea are some of the normal side effects of the chemotherapy treatment for curing cancer. These side effects of chemotherapy are inevitable and if you want to get rid of this, then probably you have to go through some other treatment like the vomiting and nausea treatments to prevent the side effects. If you are under a chemotherapy treatment, then you should ask your doctor to take steps so that you don’t have to go through the nausea feeling and you feel comfortable during the cancer treatment.

The type of treatment done during the chemotherapy like the radiation process, etc, decides whether you will have the nausea feeling or not. Certain drugs that are used during the treatment causes more effect that the others. If the drugs which are taking during the chemotherapy causes nausea, then you can take some treatment to avoid it or opt for another medicines so that the side effects does not take place. The dosage of drugs also plays an important part on the possibility of the nausea feelings. If the dosage is very high, you get the feeling of uneasiness.

Every individual going through the chemotherapy treatment reacts in a dissimilar way. Certain things may even make your case more susceptible to this side effect. Some of the things that increase the side effects during the chemotherapy treatment are:


1. You are below 50 years of age.

2. You are a woman.

3. You have a very high level of angst.

4. You have the morning sickness at the time of pregnancy.

5. You have experienced the same side effects during the earlier treatments.

However, people take certain precautions before going for the chemotherapy treatments. They take the anti- emetic (anti-nausea) drugs in order to prevent the nausea effect. The drugs given to prevent the nausea feeling can be taken either orally or IV. If the medications which are given before the chemotherapy treatment does not help and you still suffer from the nausea feeling, then you can take further medications after the chemotherapy treatment.

Therefore, the nausea feeling during the chemotherapy treatment is almost inevitable, but you can lessen the effect by taking some medications.
